About us

If you find yourself lost, traditionally a compass will guide you home. If you have ever used a compass you would soon realize that they always point North. This is a good analogy for what our church stands for. If you get lost on your way, then the only direction you need is God. You don’t necessarily need to travel North, but the direction you take should always be in reference to him.

At Fergus North, we faithfully hold to the understanding of the Bible as confessed by the churches of the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation, who rejected false teachings and returned to the truth of the Bible. We summarize and confess these Scriptural truths in our confessions; the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, and Canons of Dort.

As part of a federation of Reformed churches across Canada, we are united by our shared faith in Jesus Christ. We are not defined by nationality, background, or culture but welcome all who seek to know and follow the Lord. Join us as we grow closer to Him together!

We worship every Sunday at 9:30am and 2:00pm.

Pastor Marc Jagt

Pastor Marc Jagt was born in the year of Paul Henderson’s famous goal. Marc grew up in the Burlington area in a loving Christian home. He was educated at John Calvin School, Guido de Brès High School, McMaster University, and the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary. After some reluctance, he entered the ministry in 1999, serving in the delightful church in Ottawa for eight years, where he also married his best friend Jody. After this he pastored in Taber, Alberta, and now in the quaint town of Fergus, Ontario. He enjoys woodworking, gardening, and golf, and is interested in apologetics and Augustine – as well as alliteration! He has been blessed with three children.
